Lausanne is home to the International Olympic Committee, founded in 1894 by Pierre de Coubertin. The museum is a shrine to modern olympians. It houses an extensive video collection and sports afficionados can immerse themselves in the archive footage and the interactive computers. Located at Quai d'Ouchy 1, take bus number 2 to Ouchy and follow the signs. For more information visit the website www.olympic.org.
