makka's question:
I'll be in Geneva for a couple of days and I'd like to know which are the most important tourist attractions?(give a different answer) .
Geneva's most visible landmark is the Jet d'Eau, a giant fountain on the southern shore of Lake Geneva. The fountain "spits" a 140m-high plume of water into the air with an incredible force - 200km/h. There are 7 tons of water in the air and much of it falls on spectators who venture out on the pier, so don't get too close unless you want to cool down. Doesn't operate in winter or in strong winds.
